Aliens Versus Predator: Extinction is an intense real-time strategy game that offers hours of entertainment for fans of both franchises. Both factions also have access to special powers such as Alien Acid Spit or Predator Vision which can be used to gain an advantage in battle. The Aliens have powerful warriors such as Facehuggers, Warriors, and Praetorians while the Predators have advanced technology such as Cloaking Devices, Plasma Cannons, and Disc Launchers. Each faction has its own set of units with unique abilities that can be used in battle. The third campaign is a hybrid of both styles where players must use a combination of both strategies to succeed. The Aliens campaign focuses on using overwhelming numbers to overwhelm the enemy while the Predator campaign focuses on using stealth tactics to outwit their foes. In each campaign, players must utilize their forces to complete various objectives such as capturing key points, destroying enemy structures and units, and defending their own base.
